Communities She Anchors
A few mothers describe that they are highly active within the greater community as caretakers and volunteers, which is often stacked on top of their already demanding responsibilities as anchors within their own families. These mothers are selfless, giving, stoic, and beacons of hope — which is quite the opposite of how some people characterize participants in programs like UBIs.
Selfless
Soy gestora de cuidados para personas que viven con demencia. Básicamente somos cuidadores que vamos a domicilio y ofrecemos asistencia, tanto en un centro o como en casa, a los pacientes con demencia. Mi responsabilidad es asegurarme de que estén seguros, de que tengan citas con el médico y de que tengan una buena calidad de vida.
